SADS- Masquerade (2003) – “Closing my eyes…Erasing and leaving it behind…” There is something so painful about this song, yet overall I think it’s hopeful. Of not just saying goodbye to the past, to the bad things, to the lies and letting go and moving forward but of acceptance of these things (and yourself). Kiyoharu’s voice is stunning here, and incredibly powerful without being over the top. It’s the ultimate last song, everything about it is just so perfect and showcases just why SADs are such an incredible band. I really love this song sfm, I don’t even know how to explain just how much so. It just comforts me and calms me down when I’m not feeling so good (emotionally), I guess.
TO DESTINATION- sky of the destination (2009). TO DESTINATION updated their youtube for the first time in about a year. It seems they released this new song sometime this year? Man I barely follow these guys though I love them from the theme for Yami no Matsuei they did. This song is kind of awesome too. ^^
Kuroyume- Merry X’mas, I Love You (1997). This is the only vaguely christmas-sy song I listen to (because I love kiyoharu and all his bands) so thus this is what I will post as a means of saying Merry Christmas everyone! :D
